World’s largest single PV glass production line contracted by CTIEC goes into operation

On April 28, the 650t/d solar PV glass production line of AVIC Sanxin Solar PV Glass Co., Ltd. contracted by China Triumph International Engineering Co., Ltd. (CTIEC) went into operation as the world’s largest single PV glass production line. Chen Qitao, secretary of the CPC Bengbu Municipal Committee and chairman of the Bengbu Municipal People’s Congress; Zhou Chunyu, deputy secretary of the CPC Bengbu Municipal Committee and mayor of Bengbu; Cao Longcan, deputy mayor of Bengbu; Peng Shou, president of Bengbu Design & Research Institute for Glass Industry (BDRIGI) and chairman of CTIEC; and Wang Jinlin, deputy executive general manager of AVIC Sanxin Co., Ltd. pressed the button together to inaugurate the production line. Yang Jing’an, deputy general manager of the Glass Department of AVIC Sanxin, presided over the ceremony.
In recent years, BDRIGI and CTIEC have constantly developed and improved solar PV glass technology, and have kept ahead in such aspects as technology, quality and scale in the domestic PV glass engineering technology market. Since the construction of the production line commenced in August 2010, CTIEC has created number ones in construction period, quality and scale of solar PV glass projects as important contributions to Bengbu’s strategy of invigorating the city through industry.
