BNBM lays foundation for 50,000,000m2/y gypsum board production line in Huainan

On May 16, the foundation-laying ceremony for the 50,000,000m2/y gypsum board production line and 20,000t/y supporting light steel keel project of Beijing New Building Materials Public Limited Company (BNBM) was held in Huainan, Anhui Province. The line is currently the country’s largest, most advanced and autonomous 50,000,000m2/y gypsum board production line, which is up to advanced international standards, and will fully use power plant wastes--100% desulfurization gypsum as raw material. The advanced technology integrating drying with calcining developed according to the properties of desulfurization gypsum is expected to dissolve 450,000 tons of desulfurization gypsum of thermal power enterprise in Huainan every year, and to accomplish thorough emission reduction, waste recovery and environmental protection. It is the largest circular economic project in Huainan.
