     Guo Chaomin, Vice President of CNBM, made a visit to Tajikistanfrom Aug. 28th to Sep. 4th, during which, he visited the Chinese economic and commercial counselor's office in Tajikistan, the flag raising ceremony by highest flagpole in the world of the Republic of Tajikistan and inauguration ceremony of Cable Factory. He also discussed with the Energy and Industry Ministry of Tajikistanand the Tajik Aluminum Company on the cooperation and inspected the proposed sites for Jones and several other mines and cement plants on site.

     During the visiting period, Mr. Emomali Rahmon, President of the Republic of Tajikistan and Mr. Khasan Asadullozoda, Governor of the Bank of Republic of Tajikistan, graciously received Guo Chaomin and his fellows, expressed their full support for the investment of CNBM and wished the cooperation between CNBM and Tajik Aluminum Company a great success.

     On Aug. 31st, the Energy and Industry Ministryof Tajikistan and Tajik Aluminum Company signed the Strategic Cooperation Agreement between the Energy and Industry Ministryof the Republic of Tajikistan and CNBMand the Cooperative Framework Arrangement for Establishment of a Technology and Industry Park in the Republic of Tajikistan between Tajik Aluminum Company and CNBM respectively. The two parties agree that both sides will cooperate with each other sincerely and closely so as to complete the feasibility study report on the production line of clinker cement with a daily capacity of 2500 tons by Shahlitusk.

      General Manager Assistant Wei Feng and Zhou Yunfeng, Deputy Director of Hefei Cement Research and Design Institute were in company of this visit.
