Yao Yan Leads a Team to China Composites Group Corporation Ltd., Inspecting and Guiding Safety Work

In order to further implement and practice the relevant requirements of Safety Committee and State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council regarding deeply carrying out the major safety inspection and well preparing works of safety in production in the fourth quarter, on November 2, Yao Yan, General Manager of CNBM Group, led a team to China Composites Group Corporation Ltd., inspecting and guiding CCGC’s works of safety in production.
The team led by General Manager Yao Yan first inspected CCGC’s 5,000-ton carbon fiber precursors production line and 2,500-ton carbon filaments production line in Lianyungang, and asked for the progress of the pilot plant test of T700 carbon fiber produced by CCGC Shenying. Soon afterwards, they focused on the site of the carbon core cable project at Lianyungang High and New Technology Development Zone, and the blade producing workshop and storage yard at Dapu Blade Development Zone developed by CCGC Lianzhong. During the inspection, they examined the safety in production of the site and listened to working reports. Yao Yan fully confirmed CCGC’s achievements on safety in production, and praised that it has set up a good safety example for other corporations under the Group.
Yao Yan pointed out that CCGC, as an important base for the “three innovations” of CNBM Group, is also the forward position for the Group to develop into an enterprise with innovated performance and intrinsic safety. She was satisfied with CCGC’s active response to develop the strategy of “three innovations”; searching and fostering new growth areas in the economy; and specialized production of carbon fiber, carbon core of composite materials and carbon products. Meanwhile, she also reminded CCGC to focus on both innovations safety control, for safety is the base for everything; especially for engineering projects with high risks, CCGC must further improve the safety management level, ensure the safety entry, earnestly implement the “three simultaneities” system, make regular inspection, strengthen the source control, and feasibly protect the corporation’s safety in production. Finally, she added that CNBM, as one of the world top 500 corporations, must create a world-class-level safety performance.
Wei Huaiyuan, Deputy Secretary of Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of Management Committee of Lianyungang High And New Technology Development Zone, Xue Jirui, Vice General Manager of CBMGC, and vice general managers Wang Tongbing, Geng Tingfang and Liu Weisheng, of CCGC Lianzhong, accompanied the inspection.
