Yao Yan Met with Ukraine Ambassador in China

On the morning of May 15, Yao Yan met with the delegation led by Ukrainian Ambassador Yurii Kostenko.
Yao Yan expressed her warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to Mr. Ambassador for the visit. After China National Building Materials Group Corporation (CNBM) signed a 500-megawatt photovoltaic power plant project in Ukraine last year, it signed a strategic cooperation agreement to participate in solar energy power station investment, construction and development in Ukraine early this year, which has pushed the bilateral cooperation to a new height. Yao Yan said that CNBM attached great importance to the future prospects of new energy and building materials market in Ukraine, and it is expected that the two sides are likely to carry out in-depth cooperation in wind energy, cement, new housing and other business fields on the basis of cooperation in solar photovoltaic power plants.
Mr. Yurii Kostenko expressed his heartfelt thanks for the warm reception of Yao Yan. He affirmed CNBM's rapid development in recent years and believed that the cooperation in the field of solar energy between the two sides is highly significant to alleviate the energy shortage in Ukraine and develop new energy industries in Ukraine. The year 2012 coincides with the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Ukraine, and he would like to take such an opportunity to wish CNBM business developing continuously in Ukraine and contributing to further promote the bilateral friendly exchanges and mutual benefits.
