Ministry of Environmental Protection of Bangladesh Visited China Building Materials Academy Xi’an Branch

Ten persons of Ministry of Environmental Protection of Bangladesh visited China Building Materials Academy Xi’an Branch (CBMA Xi’an Branch) from 18th to 23rd November for investigation and learning.
Objectives for delegation of Ministry of Environmental Protection of Bangladesh were mainly to understand new achievements and technologies in fields of walling materials of CBMA Xi’an Branch, as well as promotions of outcomes and measures in energy-saving and emission-reduction and environmental protection technology of walling materials. Since 2006, CBMA Xi’an Branch has continuously developed energy-saving and emission-reduction in Bangladesh jointly with United Nations Industrial Development Organization, which has formed into brand effect of CBMA Xi’an Branch. In 2010, CBMA Xi’an Branch, combined with United Nations Development Program and Ministry of Environmental Protection of Bangladesh, jointly promoted energy-saving and emission-reduction, provided development programs and consultations for brick and tile industry and developed all-round cooperation in standards formulation and quality inspection with Bangladesh government.
Members of study group made adequate communications with chief leaders and business persons in charge of CBMA Xi’an Branch. President of CBMA Xi’an Branch Xiao Hui introduced Chinese development history of wall materials and government supportive policies in details, while technicians explained latest achievements and technologies in ceramic aggregate, light-weight aggregate, fly ash and furnace obtained by CBMA Xi’an Branch in recent years. Members of study group carefully listened introductions and made lively and extensive exchanges about advanced production line construction of Bangladesh canal mud, clay and other exhaustible resources.
