On the evening of July 8, the US Fortune magazine officially made public the “2013 Ranking List of World Top 500 Enterprises”, and two central enterprises chaired by Song Zhiping were included in the list. China National Building Materials Group Corporation (CNBM) was ranked amongst the “World Top 500” for the third time by its operating revenue of US$ 34.46 billion, and it was ranked the 319th place, 46 places ahead of its position of last year. Amongst those building materials enterprises of “World Top 500”, CNBM was ranked the second place. For the first time, China National Pharmaceutical Group Corporation, which was also chaired by Song Zhiping, was included in the list by its operating revenue of US$ 26.19 billion, and it was ranked the 446th place, making it the first Chinese pharmaceutical enterprise amongst the “World Top 500” enterprises. With these two enterprises’ successful entry into the “World Top 500” family, Song Zhiping accordingly becomes the enterprise leader who has brought two enterprises into the World Top 500 simultaneously. That is not only the recognition to Song Zhiping’s business philosophy and successful practices, but also an important symbol for mushrooming of Chinese entrepreneurs and a convincing proof evidencing China has stepped into the “Great Enterprise” age.
