Song Zhiping meets delegation led by Schneider Electric delegation

On November 19, Song Zhiping, chairman of China National Building Materials Group Corporation (CNBM), met a delegation led by Jean-Pascal TRICOIRE, chairman and CEO of Schneider Electric at the headquarters.
With a history of over 170 years, Schneider Electric is a world-famous energy efficiency management expert ranking 353rd among Fortune Global 500. Its products and services cover fields like energy and infrastructure, industry, data center and network, building and housing, etc.
Song welcomed the delegation, highly acclaiming Schneider Electric's energy efficiency management system. He introduced CNBM's situation of energy conservation and emission reduction, analyzed Chinese policies for some relevant industries after the 3rd Plenary Session of the Eighteenth CPC Central Committee and the future development orientation of these industries, and expressed the willingness to work with Schneider Electric to promote corporate and industrial energy conservation and emission reduction.
TRICOIRE focused on Schneider Electric's development in China and reviewed its cooperation with CNBM in energy efficiency management. He voiced his willingness to establish a long-acting cooperation mechanism with CNBM to support its domestic and international operations.
During the talks, the two sides exchanged ideas on cooperation in fields like cement, glass, new energy, foreign project contracting, inspection & certification and pharmaceuticals, and reached broad consensuses.
