State Key Laboratory of Green Building Materials Attends “2015 Top-level Forum on International Development Trend of New Materials and International Top-Level Forum on Engineering Science and Technology Development Strategy”

“2015 Top-level Forum on International Development Trend of New Materials and International Top-Level Forum on Engineering Science and Technology Development Strategy” was held in Shanghai on September 18th through 20th, which was organized by Chemical, Metallurgy and Material Engineering Department, CAE, Chinese Materials Research Society and Materials Academic Alliance. The Top-level Forum was attended by more than 150 scientific academies at home and abroad in the field of new materials, over 1200 experts and scholars in business circles and over 40 academicians of Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chinese Academy of Sciences. Yao Yan, President of China Building Materials Academy and Director of State Key Laboratory of Green Building Materials, was invited to and delivered a keynote speech in the Forum.
Yao Yan, as a specially invited speaker, delivered a speech titled “Research and Application of key Cement and Concrete Technologies in Major Projects” in “Materials and Advanced Manufacture Forum” while Wang Hong, Deputy Director of State Key Laboratory of Green Building Materials, as the Secretary of “Materials Genome Science and Technology Forum”, convened and organized activities for the Forum.
This Top-level Forum has one main forum and ten sub-forums to display the latest research achievements and progress in the field of materials at home, exchange and discuss new ideas, theories and applications for development of materials discipline, jointly probe into scientific and technological problems and explore the latest development trend in materials discipline. It is therefore a cutting-edge, high-end and international academic event in the world of materials in China.
