TCDRI Contracted Production Line III of Pakistan Cherat Cement Company

Recently, Tianjin Cement Industry Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. (TCDRI) and Cherat Cement Company signed the contract on EPC of the production line with the daily capacity of 6,700 tons of clinker cement in Pakistan. Sun Haiquan, deputy manager of TCDRI’s International Marketing Department, and Azam Faruque, chief executive officer of Cherat Cement Company, signed the contract.
Located in Pakistan’s North-West Frontier Province and established in 1981, Cherat Cement Company was affiliated to Pakistan Ghulam Farooque Group, which is one of Pakistan’s top 100 companies and mainly engaged in the production of cement and other building materials. Production Line III is another cooperation after the completion of the construction of Production Line II of Cherat Cement Company. The cement technologyand equipment developed and produced in China will be used. The contract scope covers a wide range from raw materials supplytocement packaging and shipment, as well asproject design, equipment supply, and technical guidance for installation and commissioning. The construction period under the contract is 24 months.
This project fully reflects the owner’s recognition of and trust in TCDRI’s design capability and supplied equipment and will play an important role in TCDRI’s further exploring Pakistan’s cement project contracting market and expand TCDRI’s influence in the local market.
