CNBM Exhibits at Fifth China International Import Expo
The 5th China International Import Expo (CIIE) opened at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai) on November 4, 2022. Chinese President Xi Jinping attended the opening ceremony via video link and delivered a speech titled “Working Together for a Bright Future of Openness and Prosperity”. This CIIE, the first major international exhibition held in China after the triumphant conclusion of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, serves as a pivotal platform for studying and promoting the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, following the Chinese path to modernization, advancing a high level of opening up to the outside world, and driving the building of a new development pattern.
As a key part of the trade delegation consisting of central enterprises, China National Building Material Group Co., Ltd. (CNBM) has participated in the CIIE for five consecutive years. Through meticulous organization, careful preparations and close alignment with the theme of “New Era, Shared Future”, CNBM achieved remarkable results in ways of active participation in high-level forums, field expansion of cooperation and exchanges, professional exhibitions and presentations and others.
Group Leadership Invited to Attend Opening Ceremony and Parallel Sessions
Wei Rushan, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President at CNBM, and Peng Shou, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, CNBM Group Chief Engineer and Chairman of Triumph Science & Technology, were invited to participate in the Opening Ceremony of the 5th CIIE & Hongqiao International Economic Forum, the session “RCEP Spurs Higher-Level Opening Up”, and the parallel session on Acting on the Global Development Initiative to Build World-class Enterprises where the action plan of Acting on the Global Development Initiative to Build World-class Enterprises was officially released. The action plan advocates businesses to drive the economic and social development of the countries where they operate with practical actions based on development and bring new drivers to the global economy.
